Do I fit the mold to work at Summonpress?
Although we are open to receiving all types of intern profiles to join us, in order to take on the maximum advantages of our internship programme we normally accept the following students:
- Students with a Journalism or Communication degree.
- Students studying courses related to Digital Communication, Online Marketing etc…
It will also be essential for you to have the possibility of undergoing an international mobility internship with a university for 3 to 6 months.
What we look for in a student/intern...
We are a company dedicated to the Internet. We the Internet. That’s why we are looking for people that:
- understand how to navigate the Internet
- have a curiosity for how the Internet functions
- like to write (without spelling mistakes!)
- have the ability to work independently
- understand that they will be part of a team
Do I need to know Spanish?
The language used in our offices in which we communicate with each other every day is Spanish. The training you will receive will also mainly be in Spanish, as will be the language you use when speaking to your colleagues. Because of this, it is recommended that you at least have a B1 or B2 level of Spanish.
How long can I do work experience for at Summonpress?
We want you to take advantage of your time with us and learn as much as possible. The minimum period we would suggest is 3 months and the maximum 6 months.
How many hours a week will I work?
All of our international students will have a working timetable ranging between 20 to 30 hours a week. When we sign the agreement with your education centre, we will establish your weekly working timetable.
